The Growth & Marketing hub is where SalesThumb collects everything revenue- and marketing-related into one place. You get there from the left rail: under the "Run the shop" heading — a fixed section that's always visible, not something you expand or collapse — click "Growth & Marketing." That lands you on /app/growth, on the "Growth" tab, which is the tab that loads by default. The page header — "Grow Your Shop," with the line "Tools to find new customers, win back old ones, run the back office, and pull in AI co-pilots when you need them" — sits above the tab strip and stays visible no matter which of the five tabs you're on.
The five tabs
Growth, Scoreboard, Operations, AI Tools, and AI Assistant sit side by side across the top, in that order. Each one is actually its own page wearing the hub's shared header and tab strip — Scoreboard, Operations, AI Tools, and AI Assistant each still have their original standalone URL (/app/scoreboard, /app/operations, /app/ai, /app/ai-assistant) if you ever land on one directly from a link elsewhere in the app. This article is only about how the five fit together as a hub; Scoreboard's numbers, Operations' back-office tools, and each AI tool already have their own KB articles covering what's inside them.
AI Tools and AI Assistant are two different surfaces now, not two names for the same thing. AI Tools (/app/ai) is a grid linking out to every individual AI tool. AI Assistant (/app/ai-assistant) is the ranked feed of live shop signals — the same surface you can reach from the dashboard and from the Cmd+Shift+K (Ctrl+Shift+K on Windows) command palette under "AI assistant." The two used to be one mislabeled tab: it was labeled "AI Assistant" but actually rendered the AI Tools grid, so the tab's name and its content didn't match. That single tab has since been split into these two correctly-labeled tabs.
Four of the five tabs load lazily — Growth, the default, is the only one that renders immediately. The first time you click into Scoreboard or Operations, you'll see a brief "Loading Scoreboard…" or "Loading Operations…" placeholder while that tab's own queries fire — that's expected, not a stall. AI Tools and AI Assistant work the same way, showing "Loading AI Tools…" or "Loading AI Assistant…" while they mount. Both AI tabs trace back to a single tab that used to live behind the Inbox before it split in two — the Inbox is now purely the messaging screen, so neither AI surface lives there anymore — and staying lazy-loaded means shops that never open either one don't pay for their queries on every page load.
The Growth tab, card by card
The Growth tab itself is what most people mean when they say "the growth hub." At the top is a four-number strip — Automations, Messages sent, Reviews requested, Loyalty members — and it's worth knowing that the Automations count only includes automation kinds that actually send today. A kind still flagged "coming soon" in the builder (right now, weather reschedule) is deliberately excluded, so that number can't make you think something is running when it's really just sitting in the builder unused.
Below that is a grid of cards, one per module: Automations, Drip campaigns, Campaigns, Bulk blast, Reputation, Win-back, Reviews, Promotions, Loyalty, Marketing, Lead forms, and Refer a shop. Click any card and it takes you straight to that module's page. Most cards show a live stat line — Promotions shows active coupon count plus gift-card dollars outstanding, Loyalty shows member and referral-link counts, Lead forms shows active forms and submission totals, and so on — each pulled from its own query, with a skeleton placeholder the first time it loads. Note that these numbers are cached for a few minutes, so if you were just on this page recently a card may show its last-fetched value instantly rather than hitting the network again. Four cards — Bulk blast, Reputation, Win-back, and Refer a shop — never show a stat line, just their description; that's by design, not a loading failure.
One pairing worth not confusing: the "Marketing" card on this grid is a different thing from either the "AI Tools" or "AI Assistant" tab. The Marketing card links to /app/marketing, the Frostbite add-on dashboard, and its stat line only tells you whether that add-on integration is connected ("Connected" / "Not connected") — it has nothing to do with the built-in AI Tools grid or the AI Assistant feed in the hub's own tab strip.
Bottom line
Use the Growth tab as your map — it's the fastest way to see what's active and what still needs setup across every marketing module, with one click from any card to the real tool. Reach for Scoreboard when you want the numbers, Operations for the back-office side, AI Tools when you want the full grid of AI features, and AI Assistant for the ranked feed of what needs your attention right now; each of those already has its own article covering what's actually inside.
