Basic is $99/month per shop, Starter is $199/month, Growth is $399/month, and Pro is $599/month. HQ multi-location add-on is $599/month per ORG and includes your first 5 connected shops; a $35/shop/month connection fee applies from the 6th shop onward. Custom multi-shop pricing available on per-shop tiers when connected to HQ. CRM/Franchise Sales add-on is $799/month.
Not a self-serve trial. Creating an account is free and takes no credit card, so you can set your shop up and look around — paid features unlock when you pick a plan. If you need a longer evaluation before you commit, reach out to sales.
It depends on the plan. Basic includes 1 user seat, Starter includes 5, and Growth includes 10 — each is a hard cap for that tier, not a per-seat add-on fee. Pro includes unlimited user seats. Every plan still supports unlimited customers, vehicles, and appointments regardless of seat count.
Yes — on Growth or Pro. The first 50 shops that sign up and maintain active merchant services through SalesThumb lock in 50% off Growth or Pro for the first 12 months, reverting to full price after that. Basic and Starter get a separate intro offer instead: 20% off the first 3 months, open to everyone. The discount isn't applied automatically at checkout — reach out via /contact when you're ready to subscribe and we'll set it up on your account.
Yes. Custom multi-shop pricing is available on per-shop tiers when you connect 3+ shops to an HQ org — reach out to sales for a quote. The HQ flat fee and per-shop connection fees are separate from this.
No. Creating an account is free and doesn't require a credit card. You only add billing details when you pick a paid plan.
Feature access is tiered, not all-or-nothing. Every shop, starting at Basic, gets the core operating system: CRM with vehicle history, calendar with a public booking page, quotes, invoicing, and integrated payments. Two-way SMS, VIN decode, good/better/best quotes with deposit capture, install photo gallery, magic-link customer portal, and the public job tracker (Domino's-style) start at Starter. Inventory with COGS + POs, smart-pricing close-rate analysis with RAISE/REDUCE/HOLD recommendations, multi-vertical support, lifetime warranty registration with PDF certificates, a live activity feed for the lobby TV, the customer mobile app, and the Text AI suite (My Day brief, inbox triage, reply drafts) unlock on Growth and up. Vision AI (photo-to-quote, AI QC review), the AI Ops Assistant, and unlimited user seats are Pro-only. See /pricing for the full per-tier breakdown.
Yes — tint is our most-loved vertical. Film catalog (brand × series × VLT), roll-length inventory with one-screen deduction after each job, window-set pricing per vehicle class, lifetime warranty registration with PDF certificates, and a public booking page tuned to how tint customers actually book. State VLT laws are surfaced in the quote builder.
Yes — SalesThumb supports XPEL, SunTek, and STEK catalogs for PPF installers, with vehicle-specific pre-cut kit templates, a square-foot calculator with complexity multiplier, a per-panel install photo gallery, warranty tier registration (Track / Road / Lifetime), and multi-day bay blocks for full-front jobs.
Yes — SalesThumb has a tier-based pricing matrix (1yr / 3yr / 5yr / 10yr / lifetime) for ceramic coating shops, a digital prep checklist signed step-by-step, per-panel photo capture, automated recoating reminders, and an aftercare SMS sequence, with paint correction as a separate line item.
Yes — SalesThumb offers detail shops named service packages (Bronze / Silver / Gold / Platinum), recurring schedule support (monthly / quarterly), a before/after photo gallery, mid-detail upsell prompts, two-way SMS, and a lifetime customer view with loyalty + tier reflection.
Yes — SalesThumb gives wrap shops a design-approval workflow with customer e-sign, a vinyl yardage calculator with waste factor, a vinyl brand catalog (3M 2080, Avery SW900, KPMF, Inozetek, Hexis), multi-day bay block scheduling, an install photo gallery, and fleet multi-vehicle quoting.
Yes — SalesThumb receives film rolls by length, batch number, supplier, and cost, with one-screen deduction after a job (preview, then apply) and low-stock alerts before mid-job stockouts. The same model works for vinyl rolls in wrap shops.
Yes — SalesThumb's post-job SMS automation drops a review-request link tuned to your Google Business Profile. Customers who tap 5 stars go to Google; customers who tap less get a private feedback form, so you can fix issues before they hit Google publicly.
Yes — SalesThumb is a shop CRM with two-way SMS built in, not bolted on. Every quote goes out with an SMS and/or email approval link, and appointments get automatic 24-hour and 1-hour SMS reminders with no setup. Quote follow-ups aren't sent automatically out of the box — the quotes list flags anything sent-but-never-opened so you know who to chase, and you can build your own status-triggered SMS nudge in Drips if you want it hands-off.
Yes, with one nuance worth knowing. SalesThumb threads every text, quote, invoice, payment, and photo into a single timeline per customer, and vehicle-specific detail — film/VLT notes, a before/after photo gallery per visit, warranty certificates — is captured per vehicle within that record. For a one-vehicle customer that's effectively one timeline per vehicle; for a multi-vehicle customer, texts still thread at the customer level rather than splitting into a separate SMS thread per car.
Yes — SalesThumb's AI reply drafts reads the actual customer conversation and hands you up to three SMS-length reply options in your shop's voice, right in the inbox composer you already use. Each draft is grounded only in that real thread (the customer's name, vehicle on file, last few messages) and is built to ask the customer for a missing detail rather than invent a price, date, or promise. It's strictly advisory — nothing sends until you review, edit, and tap send yourself.
SalesThumb captures before/after/damage photos from the installer's phone and links every shot to the appointment, the vehicle, and the customer — wrap jobs included. Each vehicle's record in the CRM carries its own before/after photo gallery per visit, so a wrap shop can pull up install photos for design/vinyl proof or a damage dispute months later. Techs tag each photo's category before it uploads, and AI can suggest a one-line caption grounded in the actual image.
SalesThumb captures both, on two different surfaces. Quotes get a real drawn e-signature from the customer's own phone at approval, no account needed. Separately, the digital vehicle inspection checklist runs on a tech's phone or tablet, autosaves locally as they work through it, and closes with a customer sign-off — captured as a typed name, not a drawn signature. If you specifically need a drawn signature on the inspection itself, that's not built today; the drawn-signature capability lives on quotes.
Not exactly as asked. SalesThumb quotes are itemized line-item estimates with a mobile approval link and e-signature — there's no field to attach reference or sample-work photos directly to a quote today. Separately, every job gets its own branded before/after/damage photo gallery you can share alongside a quote, and "Photo → Tint Draft" works in the opposite direction — turning a photo of the customer's own car into a draft quote, not attaching sample images to an estimate.
SalesThumb builds the upsell into the quote itself: pick a Good/Better/Best film or service tier per window or line item, priced against your catalog, and send one fixed total with a deposit link. There's no separate customer-facing tier picker after you hit send — the tier is chosen when you build the quote.
Not as a standing "declined services" list — that doesn't exist today. What is real: the Sales Playbook automatically enqueues a cross-sell touchpoint 30 days after a paid invoice, written per customer from their actual purchase history (e.g., pitching PPF 30 days after a tint job), plus a 90-day maintenance-check nudge — no staff member has to remember. A manual register of specific declined line items to revisit is a genuine product gap, not a shipped feature.
Yes — integrated payments are first-class. Each shop connects its own payout account and gets paid directly. Send a pay-by-link or collect a deposit at booking — customer pays with a card — and refunds run through the same flow.
QuickBooks Online is on our near-term roadmap: pushing paid invoices one-way into QuickBooks and auto-creating the matching customer. It isn't live yet — check /integrations for current status before you plan around it.
Yes — Twilio is our SMS provider. On the default plan, your shop sends through SalesThumb's own shared, already-registered 10DLC channel — there's nothing for you to register or wait on. High-volume shops can connect their own Twilio account instead (Bring Your Own Carrier); that path involves its own 10DLC brand/campaign registration directly with Twilio, typically a 1-6 week carrier review.
Yes — Zapier is live today. Webhook-backed triggers (new lead, appointment booked, job completed, payment received, etc.) connect SalesThumb to thousands of other apps.
Every shop's data is accessible via webhooks today — see /docs/webhooks for the full event catalog and signature verification. Automatic retry on failed deliveries is on the near-term roadmap (currently, failures are recorded and the subscription auto-disables after 10 consecutive failures). A documented, versioned REST API is on the roadmap; Zapier covers most one-off automation needs in the meantime.
Yes — one-way. In Settings → Integrations, create a Calendar Subscription Feed and subscribe to it from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook; your SalesThumb appointments appear automatically and stay updated as they change. The feed is read-only (SalesThumb → your calendar) — full two-way sync that also pulls Google events back into SalesThumb is on our roadmap.
Yes. A built-in CSV importer with column mapping handles customers and vehicles directly for all of these. ShopMonkey, OrbisX, and TintWiz each have a dedicated step-by-step migration guide in our knowledge base; most shops complete the core move in a weekend. Service catalogs are rebuilt manually rather than auto-translated — see the guide for your platform for specifics. For shops with 1,000+ customers we provide a dedicated rollout coordinator.
SalesThumb does — a built-in CSV importer with column mapping and platform tagging supports exports from ShopMonkey, Tint Wiz, Urable, AutoLeap, Tekmetric, and MobileTechRX, or a generic spreadsheet. Customer and vehicle records come over directly; ShopMonkey, OrbisX, and Tint Wiz each have a full step-by-step migration guide in our knowledge base, and most shops are fully moved in a weekend. Service catalogs and invoice history are rebuilt manually, not auto-imported — see the guides for specifics.
Solo shops: typically 2-4 hours to import data, configure services, and run a few practice quotes. Small teams (3-10): 1-3 days including training. Multi-location franchise: 60-90 days for a full network rollout in waves.
Onboarding is self-serve via the setup wizard — most operators don't need a call. Pro tier includes a dedicated CSM call to walk you through it, and Enterprise contracts (20+ shop chains) get a dedicated implementation engineer.
Your customer and vehicle history comes over — name, contact info, vehicle list, service history where available, and notes. Historical financials (invoices, payments) are not auto-imported today; each migration guide covers what to do about existing invoice/payment records for that specific platform.
Not in the app stores yet. An Expo-based React Native app for iOS and Android is built and in testing (TestFlight / internal Android tracks) ahead of a public listing. The installer/staff app handles full job detail, photo capture, digital vehicle inspections with customer sign-off, and time clock — access is tiered, though: Basic doesn't include the installer app, Starter gets a read-only version, and Growth and Pro get the full read/write app. The customer app (passwordless login via SMS code, a read-only warranty status view, and appointment/quote/invoice tracking) is a Growth-and-up feature. Until the listings are live, the web app runs in a phone browser.
Not yet as a general rule — most actions (photo upload, clock in/out, status changes) need a signal to save, and a dropped connection shows a clear error so a tech can retry rather than losing the change silently. The one place work is protected today is the digital vehicle inspection checklist, which autosaves locally as a tech works through it, so a killed app or a dead zone mid-inspection doesn't lose the entered items. Broader offline queueing for photos and clock events isn't built yet.
A public customer app is planned for the App Store and Google Play, with SMS-code passwordless login and your shop's logo and colors inside — available on Growth and Pro (not included on Basic or Starter). It's currently in testing (TestFlight / internal Android tracks) ahead of a public store listing — join the waitlist for launch updates. A fully white-labeled app under your own brand name in the stores is on the roadmap.
Yes — HQ tier adds franchisor-grade tooling on top of the per-shop OS: rollup dashboard with KPIs from every shop in real time, shared catalog with per-location overrides, automated royalty calculation, region/territory tools, and a unified org tree.
Yes — HQ tier is built specifically for franchisors. Royalty automation, cross-location reporting, FDD-aware franchise sales CRM for selling new units, per-location pricing rules with franchisor-defined floors/ceilings, and a one-click catalog push that respects each location's overrides.
Yes. Each franchisee gets their own subdomain (e.g. atlas-tint.salesthumb.com) plus optional custom domain (e.g. atlastint.com). Per-location branding: logo, colors, copy, public booking page, customer messaging.
Royalties are calculated automatically from each shop's gross sales. Franchisors define the rate (typically 5-8%), the period (weekly/monthly/quarterly), and any thresholds or carve-outs. SalesThumb generates per-shop statements with full line-item detail, surfaces dispute flags, and supports collection via a NACHA ACH file HQ runs through their own bank, or invoice-based collection.
No. HQ is an optional add-on for operators running more than one location. A single shop just needs a Starter, Growth, or Pro plan sized to how much of the feature set they want — see /pricing for what's included at each tier.
Data is encrypted at rest (PostgreSQL on Neon, AES-256 file storage on Cloudflare R2) and in transit (TLS 1.2+, enforced on every connection). Authentication uses Better-Auth with session cookies, bcrypt password hashing, Google OAuth sign-in, and optional TOTP two-factor authentication with backup codes. Every tenant-owned record is scoped per shop and enforced server-side. See /security for the full breakdown of what's live today versus on the roadmap.
PostgreSQL on Neon (US-East primary region). Files (photos, PDFs) on Cloudflare R2 (multi-region). All data is US-based today.
Yes — full CSV + JSON export from the admin panel. Customers, vehicles, appointments, quotes, invoices, payments, refunds, photos, warranties. We never hold your data hostage.
Use the self-service form at /privacy/delete-my-data — no login required. Choose to have your personal data deleted or to receive a copy of it, and we'll follow up at the email you provide within 30 days. This is separate from the CSV/JSON business-data export above: it's for individual privacy-rights requests under GDPR/CCPA and similar state laws, including from a shop's own customers. See /privacy for what we collect and how long we keep it.
Your data stays accessible for export for 60 days post-cancellation via the admin panel. Reach out to info@roffik.com if you need it sooner or have questions about the retention window for your account.
Not yet — SalesThumb's own SOC 2 audit engagement hasn't started. Our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Neon, Cloudflare R2) each carry their own SOC 2 Type II attestations today. We'll publish real SOC 2 dates once we engage an auditor, not before. See /security for the current compliance posture.
In-app help widget (chat + email), email at info@roffik.com, and a public status page at /status. Most questions get answered within 4 business hours; critical issues (payment failures, app down) get worked on immediately.
Yes — /kb is the knowledge base, /docs has developer docs, /docs/webhooks has the webhook catalog. The in-app Teaching Wizard also walks new users through relevant workflows for their role as they go.
Yes: Basic includes email support, Starter gets a 24-hour email response, and Growth and Pro get priority support (4-hour and 1-hour response respectively). All tiers also have the in-app help widget and /status page.
The knowledge base (/kb) is self-serve — searchable how-to articles and troubleshooting guides you can read any time, no ticket needed. Contacting support (in-app widget or info@roffik.com) is for account-specific issues, bugs, or anything the KB doesn't cover.
Yes — every shipped feature, improvement, fix, and security update is logged on a public changelog (salesthumb.com/changelog, with an RSS feed). Feature requests go to info@roffik.com, and customer-pulled requests are prioritized ahead of the general backlog.
No. SalesThumb is built by a software team (Roffik LLC), not by people who previously owned or operated a tint or PPF shop. What is true: the product isn't generic auto-repair software with a "tint mode" bolted on. Every workflow — film-roll inventory by the foot, state VLT compliance, PPF warranty tiers, multi-day project scheduling — is designed around how these specific trades quote, schedule, and warranty their work, not retrofitted from mechanical-repair tooling.
